Garden Centre Team Leader
Full Time 30 Hours Per Week
Fully Flexible – Including Weekends
At British Garden Centres, not only do we aim to deliver a great experience in our Centres, but we go above and beyond in creating an exceptional customer service experience too.
We are looking for a Team leader to work in this fast paced and very customer focused Centre and support our Shop Floor team. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills with a positive “can do” attitude plus a keen eye for detail.
The successful candidate should be physically fit as this is a very hands-on role and some heavy lifting will be involved.

Skills required:
• Excellent customer service.
• Supervisory experience.
• Able to work on one’s own initiative.
• Adhering to company policies.

• Professionalism and reliability.
Duties will include:
• Managing the shopfloor with replenishment, seasonal changes and stock management.
• Supervising duties including key holder opening and closing store as required
• Excellent customer service.
• Organising team schedules and any staff issues.
• Evaluating employee performance and providing training and guidance as needed.
• Filling in for absent employees and assisting teams as needed to successfully complete projects.
• Ensuring that employees follow company policies as well as health and safety regulations.
• Ensuring a high and consistent standard of customer service.
• Business compliance in accordance with Health and Safety and food safety laws and regulations.
