As a KS1 Teacher, you will :
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the KS1 curriculum
• Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that promotes curiosity and independence
• Support children’s development in literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum subjects
• Deliver phonics teaching, including Read Write Inc. where applicable
• Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those requiring additional support and those ready for greater challenge
• Contribute positively to the wider school community and uphold the school’s values and ethos
The Ideal Candidate :
• Has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS status.
• Can create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of literacy, numeracy, and early years phonics.
• Confident using assessment and pupil tracking tools.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
• A nurturing, patient, and approachable teacher who fosters positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
