Personal Assistant
Campbell Court, Holybourne
24.5 hrs/week
£16,647.52

Campbell Court is Treloar Trust’s supported living service for young disabled adults, offering a person-centred environment where tenants are supported to develop independence, confidence and life skills in preparation for a future of independent living. Campbell Court focuses on adult living, enabling tenants to take increasing responsibility for their own care, daily routines and decision-making.

We are looking for a committed and experienced Personal Assistant to play a key role in supporting tenants to plan, organise and develop their independence skills within a safe, person-centred supported living environment. This role involves a high level of responsibility, working closely with tenants, families and professionals to support positive outcomes and future independence.

As a Personal Assistant, you will take a lead role in coordinating care and independence support for tenants. You will work both independently and as part of a wider team, ensuring high standards of care, consistency of approach and a strong focus on tenant choice and autonomy.

There is an option to undertake an additional 12 hours as a Support Assistant, to increase to 36.5 hours per week (combined salary £25,619.25).

You will:

Support tenants to develop independence skills across all areas of everyday living
Encourage and promote choice, self-advocacy and responsibility
Provide high-quality personal care and support with daily routines
Support tenants to work towards their individual outcomes and independence goals
Assist with prescribed medication, in line with Treloar policies and procedures
Support tenants with budgeting and managing Direct Payments
Maintain accurate records and care plans in partnership with tenants
Liaise with families, carers and external professionals as appropriate
Support tenants to access healthcare, appointments and community opportunities
Provide guidance and support to Support Assistants, including allocating tasks and sharing good practice
Undertake shift work, including lone working and regular sleep-in duties
About you

You will be caring, organised and confident in your ability to support others while managing responsibility and decision-making in real time. You will be comfortable working autonomously, able to problem-solve and committed to person-centred, strengths-based support.

You will also have:

GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/Level 4 or above in English and Maths
Experience working with disabled adults in a care or supported living setting
The ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Good written and verbal communication skills
Confidence in supporting others through complex or challenging situations
A flexible approach to working patterns, including weekends and sleep-ins
What you’ll get in return

In return for your commitment, you’ll receive:

Excellent paid training and ongoing development opportunities
Pension scheme
Health Cash Plan
Life insurance and Critical Illness Cover
Discounted gym membership
Health and wellbeing activities (gym, yoga, Zumba)
On-site accommodation may be available upon request (T&Cs apply)
Refer-a-friend scheme of up to £500 (T&Cs apply)
Long-term career development opportunities within the Trust
Holiday allowance 27 days + bank holidays (pro-rata for part time)
If you are passionate about supporting young adults to develop independence and prepare for future living opportunities, we would welcome your application.
