Thrive Education is expanding its SEN supply team and is looking for Inclusive SEN Support Assistants to work across a range of schools and specialist provisions throughout Devon, Cornwall, and Dorset.
This is a fantastic opportunity for caring and resilient individuals who want to make a meaningful difference by supporting children and young people with additional needs in inclusive, supportive learning environments.
You'll work closely with pupils who may have:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs)
- MLD, SLD, and complex needs
Your role will focus on building positive relationships, encouraging independence, and providing consistent support that helps learners feel safe and engaged.
Ideal candidates will:
- Have experience supporting children or young people with SEN (in schools, care, or similar settings)
- Be calm, reliable, and adaptable in new environments
- Feel confident supporting 1:1 and small groups
- Have a nurturing, patient approach and strong communication skills
- Be willing to support personal care where required
- Have access to a car due to rural school locations
- A friendly, local agency that truly values its people
- Competitive daily rates (PAYE or Umbrella options available)
- A mix of long-term and day-to-day supply opportunities
