As a Service Charge Manager, you will lead, develop, and manage a team of service charge professionals, driving sector-leading performance whilst ensuring compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements. You will oversee the end-to-end service charge process, from budgeting and estimate calculations to billing, reconciliation, ensuring customers are charged accurately and fairly.

What you’ll be doing:
Ensuring that your team provide customers with an excellent service, where the customers interest is at the heart of every interaction.
Lead, coach, and develop the Service Charge team, creating a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and collaboration.
Manage and oversee the calculation, billing, and reconciliation of service charges, ensuring full compliance with legislation and regulatory standards.
Build positive relationships with customers, residents’ associations, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and excellent service.
Act as the senior point of escalation for complex service charge queries, complaints, and disputes, ensuring satisfactory resolution for all parties.
Drive process improvements, identify opportunities for automation, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Oversee data integrity, audits, and reporting to ensure that service charge information is accurate, timely, and fully compliant.
What we’re looking for:
Excellent customer service skills, with the experience of improving the service provided to customers.
Proven experience managing a team and delivering results in service charge, rent, or related property finance functions.
Strong knowledge of service charge legislation, regulatory requirements, and best practice.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and continuous improvement.
