2 days 6am -6pm & 2 nights 6pm to 6am
£29,679.45 Salary increase to £31,175.01 after 6 months based on demonstrated technical ability and successful completion of probation at 7 Steel UK.
As a Production Operative, you will play a vital part in our production process. You’ll be operating some of the largest machinery and equipment in the industry and contribute to the production of around 1 million tonnes of steel every year. Without our Production Operatives, we wouldn’t be the market leader.
Ideally, you’ll come from a manufacturing background because you will be operating heavy machinery but what’s most important to us is that you know how to follow strict safety procedures. Health and Safety is your number one priority, so you’ll be confident to speak out if something is wrong.
Although our finished product is steel we are actual a recycling company, the 2nd largest in Europe. The steel that we produce goes into projects such as Wembley Stadium, HS2, The Shard, Hinkley Point Power Station and Heathrow Terminal 2.
