About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Personal Assistant (PA) to provide one-to-one support to a friendly individual managing anxiety and an eating disorder. The role involves offering both practical assistance and emotional support, helping to promote positive wellbeing and healthy choices.
The position is for 10 hours per week, with flexibility required to attend appointments and activities. Thursdays and Sundays are essential, particularly around church and choir commitments, with occasional driving required to and from church.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide emotional and practical support in day-to-day activities.
Offer gentle encouragement to promote healthy routines and positive choices.
Support participation in church, choir, and social activities.
Drive the employer to and from church and local outings.
Accompany on trips to coffee shops, garden centres, and other leisure activities.
Be flexible to adjust hours around appointments or changing needs.
About You:
Experience supporting individuals with mental health challenges, particularly eating disorders and anxiety, is essential.
Compassionate, patient, and understanding with excellent listening skills.
Flexible and reliable, with a calm and supportive approach.
Must hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to a suitable vehicle.
Comfortable working within a faith-based context and around church activities.
