Many thanks for your interest in the Cover Supervisor position. We are recruiting to two contracts: one permanent and one temporary maternity cover. When applying please clearly state which position you are applying for.
We’re looking for a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to step into classrooms during short‑term teacher absences, keeping students focused, engaged and learning. You’ll help maintain a positive classroom atmosphere and ensure set work is delivered effectively.
We are seeking someone who has:
• Experience of working with young people, ideally in a school or similar environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Confidence using ICT and the ability to follow and deliver set work across a range of subjects.
• The ability to build rapport, remain calm under pressure and manage behaviour positively.
• Good literacy and numeracy, with GCSE English and Maths (A*–C or equivalent).
• A flexible, proactive approach and a commitment to safeguarding and supporting students’ success.
