Summary

Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a wonderful opportunity for an experienced and reliable Housekeeper Cook to join a welcoming family of four residing in a beautiful seven-bedroom, three-storey residence in Derby. The family consists of two adults and two young children aged one and three. They are seeking a professional with an eye for detail who can maintain their home to a high standard and prepare healthy, diverse meals.

Derby is a vibrant city in Derbyshire, well-known for its rich industrial heritage, excellent schools, and green open spaces, offering a pleasant and well-connected environment for professionals seeking part-time employment.

Working as a professional Housekeeper Cook within a private family requires a high level of organisation, discretion, and consistency. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the property, ensuring the home remains tidy and well-presented without the requirement for deep cleans. Laundry care and ironing will form an important part of your daily routine, along with changing bed linen twice per week. In addition, you will prepare evening meals for the family, who place great importance on food quality.

The family follows a balanced and health-conscious diet, consisting of approximately 50% vegetarian meals, 25% white meat, and 25% fish. Creativity and diversity in menu planning are highly valued. Twice per month, the family entertains up to ten guests, and you will be expected to assist with preparing meals to a high standard on these occasions.

No childcare duties are required, and the family cat does not require care.

This is a live-out position based in Derby, a city with strong transport links including rail and bus connections, making the property easily accessible by public transport for suitable candidates.
