We are looking for two friendly, empathetic and caring Lunchtime Supervisors for our small primary school. This is more than just a supervisory role; it is an opportunity to be a positive part of our children’s day, helping them develop social skills and enjoy their break times.
Your duties will range from the practical - such as preparing the dining hall and serving lunches, to the pastoral - where you will facilitate play and foster strong bonds with our students.

As part of this role, you will;
Act as an integral part of the school staff team, and as such to make a contribution to the overall aims of the school, working within agreed policies and procedures.Oversee children at lunchtime and encourage healthy eating, good manners and positive relationships.Provide the appropriate level of support needed by students to promote and encourage independence and good social behaviour.The successful candidate will have;
Good interpersonal skills with both adults and children.The ability to work flexibly within a team and motivate students.Understanding of the developmental needs of children.The ability to maintain confidentiality.First Aid & Food Hygiene Qualification and experience of working with children is desirable but not essential.For a comprehensive list of responsibilities and required qualifications, please refer to the attached Job Description and Person Specification.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974.
