The Role
Bolton Council are seeking to recruit a Children’s Services Reform Programme Manager. The successful candidate will work with senior leaders to develop programmes of work to reform Children’s Social Care, Education and SEND in Bolton. This will include delivery of the Families First Partnership Programme and SEND reforms detailed in the forthcoming school’s white paper.

They will need to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders, including Children Services, Health services, Police, schools and parents. They will use a variety of project management methodologies and approaches to ensure skills the role will provide the day-to-day coordination and management of the project, using the most appropriate methodologies and approaches that meet the needs of the project and to ensure their success.

The role will involve developing and coordinating programmes of work across the Council, NHS, schools and the voluntary sector.

You will have a track record of successfully delivering complex change programmes across Children’s Services in local government and across schools and partner organisations.
