PROFESSIONAL Ensure you read and understand all Protocols and SOPs, bringing to the attention of your line manager any gaps in knowledge for training and support where needed. Attend regular team briefs and participate any ideas, concerns to the team. Respond to patient - service uses via email - telephone and tasks in a timely manner. To participate in recording and reporting any near miss, take accountability and ensure learning to prevent further occurrences. Be responsible for your workload and respond to patients, practices effectively and within competence. Ensure national guidelines and standards are followed as appropriate. Advocate good and effective communication both internal and external to the service. Effectively disseminate and escalate information through the appropriate reporting channels, ensuring timely response and maintained awareness of best practice. Undertake all duties and make your line manager aware of any duties can not be fulfilled. To identify solutions to improve service delivery and discuss with your line manager. To be responsible for your own timekeeping. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT To directly contact other members of the team/ line manager for any help and support needed. Ensure training is up to date and you have the required skills to successfully complete day to day tasks. Be responsible for recognising where development is needed. Be able to work in a friendly and professional manner, whilst dealing with patients, practices and external MDT teams. Work within your scope of competence. Training and Educational Development Ensure you keep a record of training and actively engage in reviews and appraisals. Attend regular educational meetings organised in order to update clinical knowledge, practice policy and guidelines and disseminate other useful information relevant to the provision of the service.
