We are looking for a dynamic & motivated nurse to work in the busy Cardiology Research Department. You will be tasked with the running of a variety of clinical trials, in accordance with good clinical practice guidelines. You will be an engaged part of our team and eager to learn about research

We are the biggest cardiovascular centre in Europe and have a growing portfolio of interventional research for cardiac patients. The post is for a one-year fixed term contract position in the first instance with possibility of extension.

The primary responsibility for this post holder is to take a leading role in the running of a portfolio of cardiology research, initiate and manage different projects within the department.

You will be an RN with significant post registration experience with a strong cardiology background. You must demonstrate strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, be computer literate, flexible and be able to manage your own time effectively. Excellent time management and IT skills are essential to the role. Experience of formal and informal teaching and clinical research will be advantageous

Although this position is a 12 months fixed-term contract, the actual contract duration will be adjusted to account for the time taken to advertise the post, complete the hiring process, and finalise pre-employment checks. This means the contract will begin when the candidate starts the role and may be slightly shorter than 12 months

Please note: When calculating the basic salary for sponsorship, HCAS (High-Cost Area Supplement) is not included for non-medical roles. This ensures fairness and consistency within our organization, as some of our sites fall under inner HCAS, while others are classified as outer HCAS.
