Independent Cleaning Services are one of Hull and East Yorkshire largest cleaning companies and provides a range of cleaning services to Hull and the surrounding areas. We are looking to strengthen our team and are seeking another Area Cleaning Supervisor
Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As an Area Cleaning Supervisor, you will be assisting Area managers for overseeing and managing team’s of cleaners across multiple locations. Your primary role will be to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times. This role will involve cleaning duties when needed AM/PM shifts. This would be to cover Hull ,Lincolnshire, West Yorkshire and South-bank areas to help and assist Area Managers
This position will consist of split shifts so flexibility is necessary as the sites start different times of the day from 5 AM up to 8 PM
We will guarantee 30 hours per week at £13.50 per hour but could include overtime. plus fuel allowance is travelling out of Hull, plus travel time out of Hull and we also pay £150 car allowance each month to the successful applicant.
The position will include some cleaning helping cover areas on various sites due to holidays and sickness
An Enhanced DBS certificate is required for this position which we can help obtain
Responsibilities:
Please Note this position does include a lot of cleaning, due to sickness, holidays or training
Providing guidance, training, and support as needed
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met and maintained
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures
Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment
Coordinate with site managers and clients to address any specific cleaning requirements
Handle and resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
Assist in recruiting and hiring new cleaning staff when needed
Keep accurate records of cleaning activities, including time sheets and inventory management
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or similar role
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures
Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Proficient in using cleaning equipment and supplies
Ability to work flexible hours and travel between different locations
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a mobile supervising cleaning role
· Hours of work: Monday to Friday with flexible hours available. A split shift is in operation covering mornings and evenings and contract is 30 hours per week.
· Applicants must have a reliable car and hold a full, clean UK driving licence. Uniforms and equipment is provided along with full & detailed practical training.
· Rate of pay is £13.50 per hour. Plus Car and fuel allowance is paid at a competitive price.
