April Court is a Residential Care Home for Adults with Learning Disabilities. The friendly and committed team at April Court are passionate about ensuring our residents are supported to maintain their individuality.
As a Night Residential Support Worker you will provide a waking night service to ensure the residents safety and well-being needs are met including their personal, physical and emotional needs as identified in their individual care plans through a person-centred approach. You will ensure the security and safety of the building throughout the night including fire prevention.
What you’ll do
- Provide care and support that promotes client choice and independence.
- Undertake personal care duties as required.
- Work within the Gold Standards Framework to ensure quality care, collaboration
- Support residents with prescribed medication if necessary.
- Maintain dignity, privacy and respect for our clients.
What you need
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 Certificate or be prepared to work towards a qualification.
- Knowledge and awareness of Care Act 2014 and Safeguarding legislation.
- A working knowledge of CQC standards and the single assessment framework.
- An understanding of health and safety requirements.
Part-time – 10 hours per week
You will be required to work a waking night shifts during the week, weekends and bank holidays as part of a fixed four-week repeating rota.
