Hours: Full-time rota; 4 days per week (36 hours) + 1-in-5 Out of Hours cover

About the Role

As a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon, your responsibilities will include:
• Providing care for both farm and companion animals (no equine work)
• Performing consultations, surgeries, and farm visits
• Contributing to our growing orthopaedic and soft tissue caseload
• Supporting our regenerative medicine and rehabilitation services, including hydrotherapy and physiotherapy
• Participating in a collaborative, supportive team environment with veterinary colleagues, nurses, and specialists
• Sharing out-of-hours duties with excellent nurse support and no routine weekend consulting

Our main site is fully equipped with DR x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, bronchoscopy, gastroscopy, and multi-parameter monitoring, along with on-site large animal surgery facilities and hospitalisation for calves and small ruminants.

About You

The ideal candidate will be:
• A confident mixed animal veterinary surgeon with 2+ years of experience
• Skilled in farm and companion animal care
• Friendly, approachable, and enjoys working in a team-oriented environment
• Interested in developing special interests and career growth opportunities
