About the QA Supervisor job
Reporting to the QA Manager and Factory Technical Manager, your role is to lead a small team of QA/QC’s on the nightshift. You will work to maintain food safety, legality, traceability, hygiene, and housekeeping, ensuring any quality issues are resolved promptly.
Key tasks
Oversee daily team operations, provide on-the-job training, conduct performance reviews, and ensure effective interdepartmental collaboration.
Ensure products meet specifications, oversee QA checks, manage calibration of equipment, and maintain compliance with safety, hygiene, and industry regulations.
Attend production meetings, investigate product issues, circulate shift reports, and ensure accurate labelling, packaging, and sample dispatch for testing.
Promote a safe working environment, report hazards, uphold hygiene standards, and represent company values professionally while ensuring legal and quality compliance.
About You
The successful candidate shall have experience of leading a team within a quality assurance role – ideally 2 or more years in food manufacturing.
A Food Safety Level 3 qualification and experience of investigating non-conformances within a food environment is required.
A drivers license and access to your own transport is absolutely necessary due to the sites location and working the nightshift.

The QA Supervisor job (ref:9014) is paying £35,000 - £38,000, which includes a nightshift allowance.
The site is in Newbury, Berkshire and is commutable from Swindon, Thatcham, Reading, Oxford, Slough and Southampton and other areas of Berkshire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire.
