SALARY: £24,761 FTE / Actual Annual Salary £14,857 + Benefits

LOCATION: West Bromwich, West Midlands

JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Wednesday to Friday 9am – 5pm (22.5 hours per week)


JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Sexual Violence Single Point of Contact (SPOC) - Support Service Administrator to join a specialist, trauma-informed sexual violence support service based in West Bromwich.

As a Sexual Violence Single Point of Contact (SPOC) - Support Service Administrator you will act as the first point of contact (SPOC) for victims and survivors, providing compassionate telephone support, coordinating referrals and ensuring accurate data entry within the case management system.

The Sexual Violence Single Point of Contact (SPOC) - Support Service Administrator plays a vital role in delivering an effective referral process, liaising with multi-agency partners and supporting the allocation of clients to counsellors and Independent Sexual Violence Advisors, ensuring safeguarding and GDPR compliance at all times.


DUTIES

Your duties as the Sexual Violence Single Point of Contact (SPOC) - Support Service Administrator include:

• First Point of Contact: Receive and manage telephone and email enquiries, providing a calm, empathetic and professional response

• Referral Coordination: Process and triage referrals from agencies, stakeholders and self-referrals, ensuring timely responses

• Case Management Administration: Accurately input and maintain records on the organisation’s database and CRM systems

• Client Information Gathering: Obtain relevant information sensitively to assess support needs and safeguarding risks

• Allocation Support: Prepare case files and support the allocation of clients to counsellors and Independent Sexual Violence Advisors

• Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate effectively with multi-agency partners including safeguarding teams and statutory services

• Data Compliance: Ensure all documentation meets GDPR, data protection and quality assurance standards

• Team Support: Assist with administrative processes, reporting and induction support for new staff within the service


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

• Educated to Level 3 or equivalent (Level 2 considered with relevant background in administration or health and social care)

• Previous experience in a needs-led service providing information and advice to vulnerable individuals

• Experience with data entry, database management and maintaining accurate records

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage sensitively over the telephone and in writing

• Proven experience of working in a professional office environment using Microsoft Office and digital systems

• Knowledge of safeguarding adults and children, confidentiality and GDPR compliance

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising workload effectively

• A client-centred, non-judgemental approach with resilience when dealing with sensitive and distressing information

DESIRABLE

• Understanding of sexual violence, domestic abuse and trauma-informed approaches

• Experience of working within a multi-agency or partnership environment

• Awareness of the Violence Against Women and Girls Strategy and the gendered nature of abuse
