Customer Service Coordinator
Job Location: Poole, Dorset (Hamworthy)
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum, depending on experience
We are working with a well-established manufacturing, distribution company who are currently seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to join their friendly, busy team based at their office in Poole.
The customer service team are responsible for ensuring a smooth customer journey and swift product deliveries.
This position will see you providing excellent customer service to customers ensuring high levels of service are maintained, taking ownership of smooth order progression and making sure databases are kept up to date at all times with correct information.
This is a varied, busy role so it is essential you possess excellent attention to detail, good customer service skills and strong multitasking skills
Some of your duties will include;
• Processing customers’ orders using company’s computer system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Handling incoming calls with a professional manner, answering enquiries / queries about account, order status, products, services, confirming customer needs & upselling where possible.
• Producing customer quotations using the CRM system in a timely and accurate manner
• Professionally handle all forms of customer communication, email, web, fax etc in a timely and accurate manner
• Liaising with despatch and production to action and progress deliveries
• Handling customer complaints professionally, in line with company procedures and escalate where necessary to ensure that customer and company expectations are met.
• Making outbound calls to customers to confirm we have met the customers expectation clearly explaining the situation, next steps and potential outcomes.
• Liaise with other departments sharing relevant customer information to ensure customer requirements are met.
Our ideal candidate will possess experience in;
• Previous experience within a customer service or office-based environment
• A natural ability to build rapport and provide excellent customer service
• Excellent communication skills and be a strong team player who can also work using their own initiative
• Good organisational, multitasking and prioritising skills
• Excellent eye for detail
• Good IT skills, experience with Microsoft programmes including Excel, Word and Outlook.
