The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is recruiting SEND Specialist Tutor's to join our passionate team! In this rewarding role, you'll provide dynamic, one-to-one lessons for students with a variety of additional learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and sensory challenges. Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver tailored, multi-sensory lessons across various subjects
- Track progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and professionals to create effective learning plans
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that promotes growth and independence
This role is ideal for someone who wants to step beyond the traditional classroom and make a real difference in the lives of disengaged, at-risk, or vulnerable learners. You'll plan and deliver personalised one-to-one lessons that inspire progress and boost confidence.

- Position - SEND Specialist Tutor
- Type of work - Contract
- Start date - ASAP
- End date - Ongoing
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on availability
- Hourly rate: up to £30.00p/h
- Hours - Flexible working hours available
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
- QTS or equivalent
- Have experience working with SEND students
- UK classroom teaching experience
- Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references.
