Thrive Education, a trusted local agency specialising in SEN support, is recruiting Outdoor Education Support Assistants to work across a variety of schools and alternative provisions throughout Devon, Cornwall, and Dorset.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and supporting children and young people who learn best through practical, active, and hands-on experiences.
- Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex needs
- Encourage engagement, confidence, and independence through outdoor learning
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
- Adapt confidently to different settings and learning environments
- Provide consistent, calm support across varied placements
- Previous experience in SEN, care, youth work, or education
- A calm, reliable, and flexible approach
- Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs
- Access to your own transport (essential due to multiple locations)
