Join a trusted name in lifting and rope technology! Pfeifer Drako Ltd, part of the internationally renowned Pfeifer Group, is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator to support our friendly Elevator Rope Sales Team!
Reporting to the Sales Office Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting our small sales office. You’ll be responsible for processing orders, handling customer enquiries, and ensuring smooth communication between departments to meet customer demands efficiently
Key Responsibilities
• Processing of sales and purchase orders
• Meet and greet company visitors
• Speak to customers daily over the telephone and face to face
• Receive customer enquiries and orders via telephone or email
• Check stock records for availability
• Produce accurate written quote/order confirmation
• Liaise with workshop staff on delivery lead-times
• Ensure customer demands are met
• Produce invoices from the delivery notes
• Filing of all the paperwork created
• Deal with incoming and outgoing calls
• Liaise with logistics companies regarding deliveries
• Produce purchase orders for procurement of fittings, stock and stationery
• General admin duties as required
• Be available for one yearly stock check in November (possible Saturday working)

• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer literate
• Excellent telephone communication skills
• Good organisation
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn a bespoke SOP system
• Previous sales office/customer service experience
Desirable Skills & Experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Confident friendly personality
• Basic numeracy skills
• Strong typing proficiency
• Experience in Sales order processing
• Experience of regular telephone communication
Working Hours- Negotiable
• Full-time: 36.25 hours per week
• 7.25 hours per day with a 45-minute unpaid break
• Working hours are negotiable between 8:00am and 5:30pm
