In this role you will be working in a well-established multidisciplinary CAMHS Recovery Team that has recently been redesigned to ensure effective use of clinical expertise and resources. The consultant role is central to providing senior clinical oversight, supporting safe and effective care delivery, and contributing to clinical governance within the team. Clinical work is undertaken within a fully staffed MDT, with psychiatric input coordinated by the Lead Consultant to ensure fairness and equity across the consultant group. You will be expected to work flexibly within this system and contribute to a collaborative culture of shared responsibility and peer support. A formal job plan will be agreed three months after appointment and reviewed annually with the Associate Medical Director or Clinical Manager. Supporting Professional Activities may be used to develop agreed interests aligned with service priorities, including service development, quality improvement, and teaching or training. The service places a strong emphasis on professional development, wellbeing, and inclusion, with access to senior support and peer supervision.
