An exciting opportunity has become available for an Classic Vehicle Technician / Classic Vehicle Mechanic within an independent automotive workshop located in Moreton Valence.
Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.
Benefits:
- Starting salary between £35-55,000 per annum (negotiable pending experience).
- 20 days of annual leave, plus the 8 bank holidays.

- 45-hour week between the business's opening hours of 7:00am-5:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute tea breaks.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
- MOT Testing
- Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
- Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards
Requirements:
- Whilst an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair would be highly desirable, our client is open to considering candidates with no qualifications, provided they have strong "time served" experience working as a Vehicle Technician
- You will need to have extensive experience with internal combustion engines, a high level of "old-fashioned" diagnostic skills, and a strong understanding of overall vehicle maintenance and repair.
- A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
- Dedicated and committed approach.
- Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.

The salary of this role is up to £35,000 basic with OTE of £55,000.
Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are: 45-hour week between the business's opening hours of 7:00am-5:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute tea breaks.
