Our client, a leading specialist in campervan conversions and vehicle refurbishment, is seeking an experienced Paint Prepper to join their skilled workshop team. This hands-on role focuses on preparing vehicles for high-quality paintwork, ensuring surfaces are primed, filled, and finished to an exceptional standard.
Key Responsibilities as a Paint Prepper:
- Prepare vehicle panels for painting, including sanding, masking, filling, and priming
- Ensure all prep work meets manufacturer and industry standards
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace
- Collaborate with painters and other workshop staff to meet deadlines
- Contribute to maintaining high levels of workmanship and quality
Requirements needed for the Paint Prepper role:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in paint preparation in an automotive or specialist bodyshop environment
- Knowledge of sanding, filling, masking, and priming techniques
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
- Good team player with reliable work ethic
