Ready to kick-start your future in project management?

Join us as a Project Manager Apprentice and gain hands-on experience supporting the UK’s largest water and wastewater provider. Work alongside skilled project managers, contribute to critical projects, and earn a respected Level 6 Project Management qualification.

What you’ll be doing as a Project Manager Apprentice:

- Maintain the high velocity and delivery quality of our diverse innovation portfolio.
- To proactively address future leadership gaps, we require dedicated entry-level project management capacity.
- Support the innovation PMO in supporting the management of critical projects.
- You will be trained directly in the unique complexities of managing Engineering Innovation projects, from initial R&D concept through to minimum viable product (MVP) delivery.


Where you’ll work:

Location: Reading STW RG2 0RP

Hours: 36-hour week over four working days plus one training day.

Start date: September 2026

Training and qualification: Study with the University of Cumbria, a leading UK Project Management provider, through weekly online tuition and occasional face-to-face sessions in Lancaster.

Qualification achieved: Project Manager Apprenticeship Standard - BSc Hons Project Management and APM PMQ qualifications.

Duration: Permanent contract with a 48-month structured programme.

What you should bring to the role:

- Holds 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English (grade 9-4 / A-C)
- Holds 3 A-Levels or Equivalent Level 3 BTEC.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Works well within a team as well as independently.
