We are seeking to appoint a committed, motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children’s learning and development. Working in a school environment you will find that no two days are the same, but every day is meaningful and you can make a real difference to our pupils and their educational experience.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils both in and out of the classroom. You will help create a safe, engaging learning experience where every child can thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting learning activities for individuals and small groups
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
• Encouraging pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
• Supporting children with additional learning needs where required
• Supervising pupils during activities, break times, and school trips
• Promoting positive behaviour and safeguarding at all times
We are looking for someone who:
• Enjoys working with children and is passionate about education
• Is patient, caring, and reliable
• Has good communication and teamwork skills
• Can use initiative and adapt to the needs of different pupils
• Has relevant experience working with children or caring for children
• Holds a relevant qualification or is willing to work towards one
