The Opportunity
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be given full commercial responsibility for multiple refurbishment projects ranging from £250k to £4m+. This is not a tick‑box environment; you'll have influence, autonomy, and a voice in how the commercial function evolves.
You will:
- Manage cost planning, forecasting, and budgeting from pre‑construction through to final account.
- Lead subcontract procurement and negotiation to ensure optimum value.
- Drive commercial strategy to maximise project profit while maintaining client satisfaction.
- Work closely with operations and directors to provide informed, accurate commercial reporting.
- Mentor junior staff as the team grows.
What You'll BringTo succeed, you'll need:
- Strong refurbishment or main contracting experience.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach.
- Confidence in managing projects independently.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
