The Opportunity


As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be given full commercial responsibility for multiple refurbishment projects ranging from £250k to £4m+. This is not a tick‑box environment; you'll have influence, autonomy, and a voice in how the commercial function evolves.
You will:

  • Manage cost planning, forecasting, and budgeting from pre‑construction through to final account.
  • Lead subcontract procurement and negotiation to ensure optimum value.
  • Drive commercial strategy to maximise project profit while maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with operations and directors to provide informed, accurate commercial reporting.
  • Mentor junior staff as the team grows.

What You'll BringTo succeed, you'll need:

  • Strong refurbishment or main contracting experience.
  • A proactive, commercially minded approach.
  • Confidence in managing projects independently.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • A desire to work in a business where contribution is genuinely recognised.
