The Role – Senior Hydromechanical Engineer

Join our global aerospace client as a Senior Hydromechanical Engineer in their Engineering team.

In this pivotal role, you’ll leverage your expertise across all stages of product development, from design through to production, applying mechanical and electrical engineering principles to create innovative, high-quality components for braking systems.

Your contributions will drive safety, quality, and innovation, keeping our products at the forefront of the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities – Senior Hydromechanical Engineer

• Design, test, maintain, and enhance components, control systems and hydromechanical systems.
• Address complex challenges through analysis, experience, and established methods.
• Develop and oversee project documentation, including ECN's.
• Assist production and quality teams with technical inquiries.
• Establish environmental test objectives to validate design changes.
• Convey technical details to internal and external stakeholders.
• Apply expert knowledge to resolve technical issues effectively.

Background – Senior Hydromechanical Engineer

• Degree level qualification in Engineering discipline.
• Strong proficiency in mechanical engineering, particular hydraulics.
• Experience with hydromechanical systems design is highly advantageous.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with DOORS, Matlab, LABVIEW, is beneficial.
• Willingness to undertake occasional domestic and international travel.
