This role will also be part of a service that has expanded in order to offer a Bone Marrow Transplantation Service for Paediatrics here at CUH.

Your role will act as a key worker, ensuring smooth co-ordination of the child’s cancer journey throughout the whole treatment trajectory and beyond. Your involvement with the child and all members of the team involved in the care pathway, will start at diagnosis and continue throughout the treatment period into follow up or transfer to other professional care teams if required.

The post holder needs to have extensive knowledge and experience of working within the field of Paediatric Haematology and Oncology, at a senior nursing level and can understand and interpret protocols required for the child’s treatment.
