Summary

A Vacancy at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.

We are seeking an exceptional Corporate Business Manager / Senior Executive Assistant to provide high‑level business, operational and executive support at the heart of the Trust. This pivotal role ensures the smooth, efficient and professional running of the Corporate Office—supporting the Chief Executive and Trust Chair, enabling effective decision‑making, and acting as a trusted representative in high‑profile, politically sensitive environments.

You will lead and develop the Corporate Office function, including the Executive Assistant cohort and Reception team, embedding consistent standards, excellent customer service and a culture of continuous improvement aligned to our values of Professionalism, Respect, Innovation, Dignity and Empowerment.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced corporate office leader or senior EA who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment and is confident managing complex workloads, people leadership, governance processes and executive‑level communications.

You will provide forward‑looking executive support to the Chief Executive and Trust Chair, managing complex priorities, preparing high‑quality briefings and coordinating key engagements.

You will lead Corporate Office operations, customer service standards and front‑of‑house services, while managing and developing the Executive Assistant and Reception teams. You will support the Chief Executive and Chair, ensuring high‑quality papers, accurate minutes and strong information governance.

Alongside this, you will manage budgets and office resources, drive value for money, lead service improvement and modernisation projects and maintain business continuity arrangements. You will also build trusted relationships across the organisation and with external partners, handling sensitive information with professionalism, diplomacy and sound judgement.
