We are seeking an experienced Security Team Leader to oversee on-site security operations across asylum accommodation properties in Cheltenham.
Reporting to the Regional Security Manager, you will supervise and support a team of Security Officers, ensuring the safety of service users, staff, and assets while maintaining full compliance with AASC Schedule 2 and Home Office standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily duties of Security Officers
- Ensure full site security coverage and respond to escalated incidents
- Oversee incident reporting and High Priority Notifications (HPNs)
- Conduct site inspections and compliance checks
- Support safeguarding processes for vulnerable individuals
- Provide coaching, guidance, and on-the-job training
- Maintain accurate records and ensure health & safety compliance
Requirements
- Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision)
- Experience in front-line security
- Supervisory or team leadership experience desirable
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
