To liaise effectively with staff on the general wards and maintain accurate nursing records that provide assessment reports to GPs and other allied agencies Have a sound knowledge/understanding of the legislation as part of the role of the Registered Mental Health Nurse, including Mental Health Act 1983, Mental Capacity Act. Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, Access to Information Act 1991, Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and CPA. NICE Dementia Guidelines and National Dementia Strategy. Safeguarding.
