KS2 Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately
These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different primary school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Plymstock and the surrounding areas, delivering high‑quality learning experiences across Key Stage 2.Duties as KS2 Teacher:

• Deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum following provided plans
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment
• Adapt teaching approaches to support a range of learning needs
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Assess and record pupil progress when required
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to whole‑school life during longer‑term placements

Ideal KS2 Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
• Confident behaviour and classroom management skills
• Adaptable across different year groups and school environments
• Positive, organised, and committed to high‑quality teaching
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
