- Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons following provided plans
- Teach a range of topics including programming, algorithms, data representation, networks, and digital literacy
- Support students in developing computational thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Manage behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
- Assess and record pupil progress when required
- Adapt teaching strategies to support learners of varying abilities
- Contribute to departmental planning during longer‑term placements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science or ICT
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire learners across different year groups
- Adaptable and flexible across different school environments
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
