About the Role
An established Further Education (FE) Technical College located in the Norwich area is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Scientist to join their dynamic teaching and technical support team. Key Responsibilities
· Deliver high-quality scientific teaching, demonstrations, or technical support across the colleges science programmes.
· Support students in developing practical laboratory skills in a safe and engaging environment.
· Maintain and manage laboratory equipment, materials, and resources.
· Collaborate with academic staff to enhance curriculum content and practical delivery.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and college policies.
· Contribute to the wider college community through innovation, teamwork, and student support.


We are looking for someone who has:
· A degree in a scientific discipline ( Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related field).
· Experience working within a laboratory, educational, or scientific research environment.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with learners of diverse backgrounds.
· A proactive and organised approach to managing scientific resources and practical sessions.
· A passion for inspiring young people and a commitment to supporting their progression.
