  • Working Hours: Rotating Days – Monday to Friday, 6am–2pm & 2pm–10pm Pay
  • Rate: £15.27 per hour
  • Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent (paid weekly in arrears)

About the Role As a Manufacturing Operator,

you will play a key role in the making and baking of high‑quality biscuits. You’ll support a variety of production processes including moulding, baking, chocolate work, and depositing marshmallow, toffee, and jam.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review production programmes, oven profiles, and recipe sheets
  • Select and use the correct recipe via the touchscreen system and prepare ingredients
  • Set up and operate the rotary moulder and baking oven, making necessary adjustments to maintain standards and reporting any faults
  • Set up and operate the chocolate enrober and chocolate cooler, ensuring consistent quality and reporting issues
  • Monitor products regularly for any deviation from specification
  • Check, record, and verify colour standards and control sheets
  • Maintain a clean, tidy working area and ensure equipment is kept in good condition

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous production experience in a bakery or food environment is beneficial but not essential (full training provided)
  • Good numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast‑paced environment and use initiative
  • Comfortable lifting up to 15kg
  • Willing to work in a food manufacturing setting where hygiene and safety standards are key
  • Full training will be provided
