Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with experience in Learning Disability and Mental Health to join our team in Oxford. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs, working flexibly to meet the needs of our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable agency, offering ongoing regular hours, including days and sleep-ins, with a competitive hourly rate of £32-£37 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse, your key responsibilities will include assessing, planning, and delivering individualised care plans, administering medications, and providing emotional support and guidance to service users. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members, to ensure comprehensive care and support. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with service users, families, and colleagues, promoting a person-centred approach to care.
Required Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin, holding a qualification in Learning Disability and Mental Health Nursing. You will have experience working in a similar setting, with a strong understanding of the needs of individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. Your ability to work flexibly, think critically, and make sound judgements will be essential in this role.
