We are seeking an individual who can communicate well with students, inspire and motivate them. The class consists of up to 16 students, supported by a team of prison mentors and workshop technician.

In terms of possible hours we are restricted by the prison regime to a certain degree. We would need you to be able to work full morning or afternoon sessions, or full days, albeit not necessarily 5 days a week:

Mon-Fri PM - 4:40pm finish

All lessons are 2 hours 45 minutes.

We are keen to hear from candidates within the building and construction sector, who are interested in starting a career within teaching, and want to share their industry knowledge. Learners will benefit from your invaluable hands-on trade experience and gain the knowledge they need to enter the building trade whilst learning in a safe and industry standard environment.

No previous teaching experience? Don’t let this put you off… If you are a passionate person with the capacity to become a great teacher, we can provide the training if you are willing to study alongside your work to help you achieve your full potential, just as we expect you to be able to help our learners achieve theirs.
