Summary
Maths Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting as soon as possible

Duties as Maths Teacher:
- Deliver engaging Maths lessons with no planning or marking required
- Teach across relevant year groups using pre‑prepared materials
- Support pupils in developing numeracy, problem‑solving, and reasoning skills
- Maintain positive behaviour routines and a calm classroom environment
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of learning needs
- Contribute to departmental consistency and effective delivery
- Provide verbal feedback to support pupil progress
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal Maths Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Maths
- Strong subject knowledge at secondary level
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to motivate and support learners of mixed abilities
- Good communication and organisational abilities
- Proactive, reliable, and committed to supporting pupil success
