Are you an organised and detail‑driven finance professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join a growing finance team in Skipton, supporting five companies with a variety of transactional finance duties. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and thrives in a busy, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing purchase and sales ledger processes using Sage 200
- Processing purchase and sales invoices across five companies
- Handling credit card transactions and associated reconciliations
- Processing Purchase Orders and credit card spend
- Working with the company's Purchase Order system
- Creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets to support financial reporting
- Providing general office administration support, including filing, organisation, printing, photocopying and telephone duties
- Attending departmental meetings as required
- Carrying out any other duties appropriate to the position
What We're Looking For
- Experience in purchase ledger, sales ledger or a similar transactional finance role
- Familiarity with Sage 200 (desirable)
- Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
- A proactive, organised approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- A team player with good communication skills
