With a 24/7 operation, who pride themselves on being a supportive, welcoming business where people genuinely come first. You'll join a collaborative HR team committed to delivering high-quality support across the organisation.
I am looking for an HR Business Partner who thrives in a hands‑on, operational environment but also enjoys contributing to longer‑term strategic initiatives. This role is approximately 70% operational and 30% strategic, giving you the chance to make an immediate impact while shaping the future of the people agenda.You will report in to the Senior HR Business Partner and work closely with managers across the site to drive best practice, support employee development, and ensure a positive, inclusive workplace culture.Please note: This role is fully on-site and requires one evening shift every fortnight, with a later start time that day.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations

  • Attend and support disciplinary and grievance meetings.
  • Provide clear, confident advice and guidance to managers on ER processes.
  • Draft and manage outcome letters and associated documentation.
  • Ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant handling of all ER matters.

Manager Coaching & Development

  • Coach and upskill managers on HR best practice, policies, and people management.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with leaders across the site.
  • Support managers in navigating complex people issues with confidence.

Talent, Succession & Workforce Planning

  • Support managers with talent management activities and performance processes.
  • Assist with the implementation and embedding of succession planning frameworks.
  • Help identify development needs and support career pathways across the business.

HR Projects & Strategic Support

  • Contribute to wider HR initiatives including:
    • Health & Wellbeing programmes
    • ED&I initiatives
    • Internal communication improvements
    • Engagement and culture projects
  • Support continuous improvement across HR processes and systems.

General HR Support

  • Support with HR reporting, data accuracy, and compliance.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver a seamless service.

Experience Required:
You must have experience as an HR BP within a fast-paced, commercial organisation, ideally Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics, Retail or a similar industry.
