Redhill Academy Trust Pay Scale, Band 9Scale points 41 - 45Actual salary: £27,158.10 - £29,500.28 per annum (FTE: £31,327.01 - £34,028.7237 hours per week - Permanent, Term Time + 1 WeekRequired to start as soon as possible.We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Deputy Centre Manager to support the leadership and daily operation within The Redhill Academy Trust Re-Integration Centre for secondary-aged students. Working closely with the Centre Manager, the successful candidate will help provide a structured, supportive, and nurturing environment for pupils who require additional behavioural, emotional, or learning support.Key responsibilities include supporting staff in delivering tailored intervention programmes, managing student behaviour and reintegration plans, liaising with teaching staff, families, and external agencies, and ensuring safeguarding and inclusion policies are effectively implemented. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and behaviour management skills, experience working with adolescents, and a commitment to promoting positive outcomes, engagement, and inclusion for all learners.To be successful in this role you will have: Proven experience working with secondary-aged pupils, particularly those with behavioural, emotional and social needs (SEMH) and/or SEND.Strong behaviour management and restorative practice skills, with the ability to support pupils at risk of exclusion and reintegration.Experience supporting and leading staff, including modelling best practice and contributing to staff development and supervision.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents/carers, teaching staff and external agencies.A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and commitment to Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and Working Together to Safeguard Children.Knowledge of inclusive practice, equality and diversity, and strategies to promote engagement, attendance and positive outcomes.Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience in an inclusion, alternative provision, or pastoral leadership role within a secondary school.Knowledge of Ofsted frameworks, behaviour and attendance guidance, and school improvement processes.Relevant qualifications in education, youth work, behaviour support, SEND, or leadership/management.The Re-Integration Centre is part of Redhill Academy Trust.
