Working within a small, Ofsted Outstanding nursery, you will take responsibility for leading a dedicated room team, creating a nurturing, stimulating environment where children thrive. What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (required).
- Previous experience in an early years or nursery setting, ideally with some leadership or senior responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding standards.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and support a small team.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A warm, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding early years education.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage your designated room, ensuring high standards of care and education.
- Plan and oversee engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Support, mentor and develop room staff to maintain a positive and motivated team.
- Monitor children’s progress through observations, assessments and planning.
- Maintain exceptional safeguarding, hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Build strong, professional partnerships with families and colleagues.
- Contribute to the nursery’s overall vision, continuous improvement and outstanding practice.
