Nursery Room Leader - Up to £30,500 per year

Working within a small, Ofsted Outstanding nursery, you will take responsibility for leading a dedicated room team, creating a nurturing, stimulating environment where children thrive. What We’re Looking For



  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (required).

  • Previous experience in an early years or nursery setting, ideally with some leadership or senior responsibilities.

  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding standards.

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and support a small team.

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • A warm, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.

  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding early years education.

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead and manage your designated room, ensuring high standards of care and education.

  • Plan and oversee engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.

  • Support, mentor and develop room staff to maintain a positive and motivated team.

  • Monitor children’s progress through observations, assessments and planning.

  • Maintain exceptional safeguarding, hygiene and health & safety standards.

  • Build strong, professional partnerships with families and colleagues.

  • Contribute to the nursery’s overall vision, continuous improvement and outstanding practice.
