About the role:
Mid Powys Home Support is a service covering Llanidloes, Rhayader and Llandrindod Wells. Home Supports aims to support individuals within the local communities remain living in their homes maintaining independence however having the reassurance there
is support should someone need.
About you:
• We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, approachable
and committed to making a difference to individuals lives and the local community we live in
• To have an outgoing and friendly attitude with a positive outlook and a
desire to meet all required challenges and aspects of the role.
• To be able to think outside of the box and find creative solutions.
• To always embrace and deliver the corporate values in everything we do
these being. Professional, Positive Progressive, Open, Collaborative,
• Able to communicate effectively and work alongside team members and
other professionals that work in partnership with Mid Powys Home Support
• To be the holder of a full clean driving licence
• To be flexible
What you will do:
• Provide care and support to those within the community this consists of
regular welfare calls / signposting and promoting community involvement and presence.
• Responding to emergency call outs (I.e., Fall)
• Working with other services / professionals to ensure individuals have the care and support they require to live the life they want
• Promoting the service within the service area

This position has a requirement for an Enhanced DBS Check
