Role - Electrical Maintenance Manager

Location - Reading

Salary - £45,000 - £50,000 OTE

Are you an experienced electrical bias maintenance manager looking a new challenge and a better work-life balance? My client is a large educational establishment in Reading, they currently have a rare in-house role for an experienced person to join an already existing strong team to. This role is Monday - Friday 37 hours a week, offering fantastic benefits.

The Package will include:

  • Salary up to £46,000
  • 37 hour working week
  • Generous holiday (42 days on total)
  • Generous pension 15%
  • Large estate
  • On call allowance of £4k a year
  • Training and development

Main duties will include:

  • Overseeing and managing a in-house electrical maintenance team of around 9 engineer
  • Oversee planned & reactive maintenance delivery - including log books and compliance
  • Highy involved in H&S compliance and on site audits
  • Deliver toolbox talks and support engineer development
  • Manage PPM schedules and reactive roles including weekly, monthly and yearly
  • Being part of an overall senior estates team including other senior managers
  • Overseeing subcontractors on site, including RAMS,Permits and invoicing
  • Involved in minor works and some projects
  • Minor budget responsibilities

The Ideal candidate will need:

  • Qualified electrician - NVQ/ City and guilds or equivalent
  • Experiance in a similar position including experience managing or supervising maintenance teams
  • Confident leading people and driving team performance
  • Good IT skills - able to use CAFM and invoicing systems
  • Able to obtain DBS
