Do you have industry experience in Civil Engineering, Construction or Building Services? You might already have a teaching or assessor qualification — but what really matters to us is your industry knowledge, your professionalism, and your passion for helping apprentices succeed. If you’re not yet qualified to teach or assess, we can support you with further training. That’s what Dan did – watch his story here.

You’ll need to be…

-great at explaining things simply and clearly
-professional, organised and reliable
-passionate about supporting apprentices to achieve their goals
-able to teach and/or assess (ideally qualified, but we’re happy to train the right candidate)
-qualified to Level 3 or above in Civil Engineering, Construction or Building Services, with relevant industry experience

You’ll…

-teach and/or assess apprentices within our Faculty of Construction
-support learners in the workplace and/or college
-plan and deliver high-quality teaching and assessment
-track learner progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
-work as part of a professional, supportive team with excellent success rates

*The salary quoted includes a £4k supplement, an extra discretional payment to attract talented staff from industry. It is reviewed every year.
