We are looking for an Assistant Surveyor to join our team on the A47 project in Gloucester. You do not need to have prior surveying experience as you will be given training however you must have an interest in the industry and working various working patterns that come with the job.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide effective support to surveyors
Check survey equipment and load van
Ensure correct set-up of all equipment for effective use
Be available and adaptable to changes in shift patterns
Build rapport with other surveyors to create a positive environment
Report equipment faults promptly
Complete timesheets accurately and daily (or weekly if working away)
Take responsibility for own equipment and PPE
Download and back-up survey data
Take ownership of problems as they occur but seeks advice if unsure
Stays focused on completing a task in the allotted time and avoids disruption
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Eager to learn and develop professionally.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions.
Effective communicator and team player.
Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks and environments.
Good numerical & analytical skills
UK driving license
