A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a long established, independent 24 hour veterinary hospital in South Yorkshire, proudly serving the local community since 1985! With decades of experience and a reputation for clinical excellence, this RCVS accredited hospital offers the chance to work in a setting where high standards, continuity of care, and teamwork truly matter.
This is a busy first opinion small animal hospital that delivers its own 24 hour emergency care, giving vets the hugely rewarding opportunity to follow cases from initial presentation through to recovery. The hospital benefits from an exceptional breadth of in-house and visiting expertise, including peripatetic orthopaedic surgeons and a cardiologist, allowing complex cases to be worked up and treated to an advanced level while maintaining a supportive and collaborative environment.
The facilities are outstanding, featuring dedicated hospitalisation, critical care and isolation wards, modern kennels, a fully equipped operating theatre, an in-house laboratory, and a comprehensive diagnostic imaging suite. This level of equipment and support enables clinicians to practise high quality medicine and surgery with confidence, backed by an experienced and close knit team that genuinely looks out for one another.
The practice is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for patient care, who is confident in sole charge and enjoys supporting recently graduated vets as they grow in confidence and skill. A full UK driving licence is also required.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values independence, clinical continuity, and being part of a hospital where every team member plays a vital role in delivering outstanding care!Top of FormBottom of Form
