Research Administration Assistant
16 hours per week
Band 3
Fixed term - 12 months
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with an interest in clinical research to join our growing research team.
The post holder will provide administrative support to the research department, helping to ensure the efficient and accurate running of clinical research studies. You will ensure that administrative tasks are completed to a high standard, in a timely, accurate and confidential manner.
You will be organised and reliable, able to manage your own workload, work under pressure and contribute effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. This role offers a good opportunity to gain experience within clinical research in a supportive NHS environment.
The post holder will support the work of the clinical research team by carrying out a range of routine administrative tasks, assisting with data collection, and supporting the day to day organisation of research studies, in line with ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Trust policies.
Important Notice on Visa Sponsorship Eligibility
Please note that whilst the trust does offer sponsorship this role is unfortunatelynot eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Health and Care Worker visa route. This is due to the position not meeting the minimum salary threshold of £41,700 per annum and/or the required skill level set by UK Visas and Immigration.
We appreciate your interest in this opportunity and encourage applications from candidates who already have the right to work in the UK.

We have a clear set of values & behaviours which we expect all of our staff to demonstrate:
• Compassion
• Accountability
• Respect
• Excellence
We believe that the best organisations are those that reflect the communities they serve. We are therefore seeking to improve the diversity of our workforce to make it truly representative of our local population.
We actively encourage applications irrespective of race, age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion or belief, marriage & civil partnership, or pregnancy or maternity.
